    Porís de Candelaria

    Starting from El Jesús, you will begin the route by descending the Jorado ravine, a classified and protected area as a natural monument, until you reach a surprising cove. Subsequently, you will ascend and then descend through another ravine that will lead you to the captivating cove of Porís de Candelaria. It is a place with a fascinating history.     Volcano Route Part 1

    The Volcano Route in La Palma is an extraordinary experience that takes you through the island's southern volcanic ridge, considered the most recent part from a geological perspective. The journey begins with a 500-meter ascent in the shade of pine trees, offering spectacular views of the Caldera de Taburiente, La Palma's national park. Reaching the highest point at 1900 meters, the descent to the south begins along the ridges, passing from volcano to volcano. This crossing is considered one of the most iconic in the Canary Islands. During this hike, you will venture into a magical and lunar environment, where volcanic elements have shaped the landscape in a spectacular way.     Volcano Route Part 2

    Excursion to the extreme south of La Palma to discover the final part of the Volcano Route. From Los Canarios, you will head towards the Interpretation Center of the San Antonio Volcano. It is a very interesting center that is definitely worth a visit. It will also allow you to access the San Antonio Volcano (path along the ridge).Next, you will descend towards the Teneguía Volcano (eruption of 1971), where you will be impressed by its rich variety of colors and shapes in the lava flows. In the areas where ash falls, Malvasía grapes are cultivated, which produce excellent quality and renowned wines.
    Upon reaching the extreme south, you will discover the lighthouse and the salt flats where excellent quality salt is produced. You will also find a small beach if you wish to cool off in the sea. Next to the salt flats, there is a bar/restaurant where you can take a break.
    Then, you will return to Los Canarios by passing through the other side of the Teneguía cape. The landscapes are simply spectacular.

    If you just want to walk down, that's possible. Once you arrive at the lighthouse, buses connect it to Los Canarios.
