Our routes in La Gomera

Interpretive hiking to understand a unique territory.

Exploring La Gomera on foot means entering a living landscape: misty forests, ravines shaped by erosion, ancient terraces, villages, and a culture deeply connected to the land. My routes combine interpretive hiking, geological reading, biodiversity, and cultural connection, so you don’t just walk — you understand how this island works and how we can care for it while enjoying it.

The routes can be done in groups, tailor‑made, or privately. We also organise excursions for those staying in Tenerife who wish to spend a day in La Gomera.

Tipos de rutas que ofrezco

Scheduled group routes

Weekly excursions in small groups, departing from San Sebastián, Playa Santiago or Hermigua. These are interpretive routes that explore some of the island’s essential landscapes: laurel forest, ravines, viewpoints, traditional hamlets, and areas of high natural value.
You can join an already scheduled route or, if you prefer, request that I plan a new date to share with other participants (subject to availability).

Tailor‑made routes

They can be private or added to the calendar if you’d like to share the experience with others. Experiences designed exclusively for you: level, pace, interests, duration, and starting point. Ideal for people who want to be accompanied by a guide specialised in geology and nature.

Routes from Tenerife

If you are staying in Tenerife, you can book a private full‑day excursion to discover La Gomera. It includes the round‑trip ferry from Tenerife and an interpretive route through some of the most emblematic landscapes of Garajonay National Park.

🧭 My guiding approach

My routes are built on three pillars:

Landscape interpretation I explain geological processes, ecological dynamics, human history, and cultural elements that give meaning to the territory.

Comfortable pace and small groups We walk without rushing, with pauses to observe, understand, and enjoy. I work with small groups to ensure quality, safety, and a close, attentive experience.

Adaptation and safety I choose the itineraries according to the group’s level and the weather conditions. The priority is always the safety and well‑being of all participants.
