Hiking in the El Cedro area (easy level)

Botanical walk to discover the treasures of Garajonay National Park. You will explore one of the most emblematic areas of the national park: El Cedro. Known for its perennial stream, extremely tall trees, and charming chapel. I will show you the incredible biodiversity of this place, a true ecological sanctuary. I will explain to you how it is possible to have such a lush forest under a latitude where deserts normally prevail.

Estupenda combinacion Fue una combinación de hacer ejercicio y empaparnos con el conocimiento de la evolución e historia de la isla que nos sorprendió agradablemente. Audrey muy bien en todo, atenta, amable y con mucho conocimiento. Muy recomendable.

La Gomera Ipalan, one week self-guided hiking, May 2026 Audrey had chosen 7 amazing hikes each one showing different aspects of the island. Each day there was a choice of intermediate or hard hikes. The intermediates were usually no more than 300m up and the majority downhill, which made it less strenuous for us. The hotels she chose were modest, basic but clean and friendly without exception. Taxis transferred our bags to the next hotel after dropping us off at the start point of hikes. She provided Komoot app online routes that were easy to follow on my phone. On the first day she provided us a lot of knowledge on the island, its flora and fauna, so set the scene for everything we experienced on the following days. Having done many self guided hiking holidays I can say this was one of the best, for the detailed organisation, Audrey's attentive care by whatsapp during the week, the breathtaking views, the food, hosts' charm, and the constant cool breeze. Highly recommend taking one of her trips!

séjour rando liberté sur la Gomera Mai 2026 14 jours de randonnées sur l'ile de la Goméra, 14 jours de découvertes de paysages fantastiques sur des chemins variés sans grosses difficultés. Nous étions en randonnée liberté. Ce qui nous a permis de marcher à notre rythme tout en respectant notre itinéraire. Des hébergements de qualitéà chaque étape dans les différents villages de la Goméra. Un séjour très agréable. Merci à Audrey pour ses conseils ainsi que pour les 2 randonnées effectuées avec elle nous expliquant la création de l'ile volcnique et des multiples flores rencontrées. Si vous êtes des randonneurs qui aiment la nature avec Audrey et durant 14 jours vous serez comblés. N'hésitez pas.

A great way to explore La Gomera! Our week-long holiday was excellent in every way! On the first morning, Audrey met us for the first day's walk, and shared her enthusiasm and outstanding knowledge of wildlife and La Gomera with us - a great way to lean into the holiday. Audrey's communication was always responsive and friendly and the arranged taxi transfers were well organised. Staying in different accommodation allowed us to enjoy a range of delicious local cooking - either hotels or local restaurants. Gradually working our way around the island gave us a sense of the beauty and drama of this spectacular island. Every day was an adventure. The island's micro climate is very pronounced and we would often start our walk in low cloud and gradually work our way down to the warmer coastline. Temperatures varied from around 8C to 20C, so definitely take warm clothes. We were fortunate to visit in May after plentiful rain, with the wildlife in full bloom. With such beauty, we were surprised to find it so quiet. So, if you are looking for dramatic scenery, an abundance of wildlife, quiet roads and footpaths, friendly people and a pleasant climate, La Gomera is hard to beat. I would highly recommend Ipalan Hiking Guided Tour as a great way to make the most of a trip to La Gomera.

Trois journées complètes de randonnée avec Audrey pour découvrir les divers climats et paysages de La Gomera, des barrancos au Parc de Garajonay en passant par de petits villages authentiques, un séjour mémorable et enthousiasmant ! Audrey est une guide hors pair, aussi calée en géologie, en botanique, qu'en histoire ou en géographie de l'île, qui connaît les 650 kilomètres de sentiers de randonnée comme sa poche et qui a partagé avec nous ses bonnes adresses de cuisine traditionnelle ! Une expérience inoubliable !

Une ile pour les randonneurs ! Nous venons de vivre une superbe randonnée itinérante de 8 jours sur l’ile de la Gomera avec Ipalan. Les chemins proposés nous on fait découvrir des superbes paysages variés avec plaines, des gorges, des forêts, des vallées, des bords de mer et parfois quelques passages vertigineux ! Les étapes étaient bien équilibrées avec des logements agréables qui nous permettaient de découvrir de charmant petits villages. Encore merci à Audrey pour nous avoir proposer des chemins alternatifs en cas de mauvais temps, et nous avoir fait partager ses connaissances de la flore et la faune de cette ile sans oublier les dyke et des neck. Day trip to La Gomera Audrey is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. Her passion for the nature and landscapes of La Gomera is obvious. We came for the day from Tenerife (Audrey organised our ferry tickets) and she took us on several shorter walks to the most amazing viewpoints. Definitely one of the highlights of our holiday! I can 100% recommend.
